Reliable for family stories

This is my third time using Kindred Tales, and I've always been happy with them. This time, I got the Collaborative Storytelling Access for my dad's side of the family, and it worked out well. Everyone could add their bits easily. I've noticed the Archival Quality Paper is consistently good, and the books hold up. My previous order, a couple years back, was just a basic memoir, and this multi-person one felt just as smooth to set up. Delivery times are usually around 3 weeks for me in California, which is what I expected this time too. It's a solid service for keeping family memories.

Easy to set up

Got the Just Speak Audio Transcription for my grandpa for his birthday. He's not a big writer, so this was perfect. He just talked into his phone and they turned it into a book. Pretty neat. It was easy enough for him to figure out, which is saying something.

Good idea, slow processing

I used the Weekly Story Prompts Service for my mother's memoir. The prompts were really helpful for her, and she enjoyed writing her stories. The final Hardcover Memoir Book itself is nice quality, but it took about 4 weeks to actually get printed and shipped after she finished. I wish that part was a bit quicker, especially since I ordered it for a specific date. Overall, a good experience though.
